Utabibu would like to develop a Mobile Loan application where members can access the loan products using their Safaricom line via USSD or Mobile Application.

To provide you with a good experience, we would like your feedback on the features you would like the Mobile Loans Service App to have.

Mobile Loan App features

• Loan not pegged on deposit multiplier.
• If one pays off the loan they can re-apply immediately.
• The loan has no guarantors
• If one defaults. The amount is deducted from their deposits, they are blocked from accessing the product until they replenish back the amount into their deposits.
• The loan has no human intervention. One applies using their phone and money is disbursed to their phone through Mpesa.
• Repayment is also done through Mpesa.
• SACCO will work on sending reminders, Days before the due date and due date.

Eligibility

• A member in good standing paying well their deposits and loans
• Active member, not dormant or exited.
• Currently available to Safaricom /Mpesa lines only
