Utabibu SACCO is now regulated by SASRA an umbrella body under the Ministry of Cooperative, there is a requirement that all Sacco’s that are regulated by it MUST maintain certain financial bases, and in order to achieve the threshold, the board of has introduced monthly deposit contribution banding threshold for all borrowers, with effect from 1st October 2020.
